On January 14th and 15th, 2026 (5:00 PM - 7:30 PM Central Time each night), TNOTA’s student members are invited to take part in a student/new practitioner-focused event being hosted by the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association (OOTA).
Participants will dive into essential topics like resume building, new grad panel insights, advocacy, and the ethical use of AI, with opportunities for live Q&A, group discussions, and interactive breakout sessions focused on specific practice areas. This is a fantastic, no-cost opportunity to connect with peers, gain practical knowledge, and build your professional network.

- Full Group Sessions & Connection: Featuring main stage presentations with live Q&A and group discussion.
- 6:00 – 6:15 – Ice breaker / Grounding activity
- 6:15 – 6:45 – Resume Building and Job Interviewing – Kara Brogan, OTR/L
- 6:45 – 7:15 – Research, Organization, and Occupational Balance – Kelly Tanner, PhD, OTR/L
- 7:15 – 8:00 – New Grad Panel

- 7:15 – 8:00 – Specialty Breakout Rooms + Team Building Activity
- 8:00 – 8:30 – Conclusion: Building a Consensus
